They have vegetarian dishes which are mainly tofu stir fried with different vegetables, and they do have vietnamese salads as well which usually consists of cabbage, pickles, mint and basil with tofu as a meat substitute. If tofu isn't vegan, then im sorry lol
Also, Pho is very different in different parts of Vietnam. I lived there and worked with many Viet Cooks in the US, so there is room for different opinions. That said, the Pho at Thuan Loi is like dishwater. Yucch
They usually close on New Year's day until about April.
2nd time at Thuan Loi, it's a good value - had the medium soup for $9.95 and is plenty for someone with a good appetite. Homemade wontons and bbq pork was delicious. Will go again.
While food was good, I had one of the worst customer service encounters ever. The old mad working there is very rude. My boyfriend accidentally put fish sauce in his side of white rice (the fish sauce is in a soy sauce bottle) I politely mentioned this to the old man and he got in my face and said "it's not my problem, it's your fault "and was super rude. For a side of rice that probably cost him 10 cents (even tho they charge $3) he lost customers and put a really bad experience in my mind. I will never go there again and will discourage others....customers don't deserve that treatment. Ive worked in restaurants my whole life.
Friendly staff and really good authentic Vietnamese food!
Small, authentic, quick service and super friendly owner. I told him I was going to SE Asia this winter and he gave me all sorts of advice. What a lovely little spot.
Love this mom & pop restaurant. Authentic cuisine. Awesome service. Casual atmosphere.
Good food, and fantastic service! They were really nice! But it's a small restaurant, so keep that in mind.
When u had too many lobster rolls, this is the place!
Very pricey for the small portions you get. Ordered the curry beef, doesn’t taste bad, but there is something like plastic in it, chewing it felt like something that is not food. Sweet and sour soup is not good too, comes with noodles?! Good bubble tea, friendly staff, but not worth the price tho!
100 per cent family run Resturant...Everything was Great ...100 per cent...Thank You All
With all the amazing sea food and restaurants on the cape, I think it's easy to over look this family owned Vietnamese restaurant. But it was an amazing find. Everyone loved all their dishes and appetizers, great portions and good service. Will definitely be coming back here.
Friendly staffs. It is hard to be disappointed by vietnamese noodles. This one was fine, only the size was a bit small.
Absolutely the best pho. Everything we tried was delicious. Owner and server were extremely helpful. My only regret is that I live 400 miles from here.
Rude server. 3 groups were eating. Server we asking 2 tables to be quiet. Really weird vibe.
I ordered a soup that had no noodles. It was chicken and shrimp. It had two tiny pieces of chicken and two shrimp.I explained to the rude old man behind the counter. He stirred my soup and exclaimed there is a piece of chicken!!!!So I just left as there was no way he was going to do anything other than make a scene.I had lived in Asia for many years so I know a good soup.I was just visiting so at least I dont have to rely on it for my to go to place.Worst service.
Food is fresh and the flavors are all on point. Soups were all amazing. Spring Rolls were also exceptional.
Awesome family business with amazingly delicious food! Love the lychee shake as well.
Food was quick, staff SO friendly. And portions were great.. Definitely recommend to others Ps. We are picking about our food😁
Good and fresh! Walked there from our hotel.
Just what the doctor ordered! Perfect place for a rainy day. Fun and friendly staff as well!
I really like this place. Not year round. Small seating area. Best egg rolls, hands down with homemade duck sauce with a little spice. Pho is excellent with many selections. Fried rice is perfect for any picky or less adventurous eaters in the group. One of the few places on Cape for Bubble Tea including Taro and Honeydew flavors.
Best Vietnamese food for miles! You’re going to walk away satisfied every time and feel like family when your there. One of my favorite places for food, by far.
Incredibly flavorful soup, fresh vegetables, knowledgeable servers................ I will be thinking of this restaurant..... hopefully for years
THE BEST! I'm crazy about this restaurant! Before I moved a little ways away I went once a week! All their food is incredible, especially their Pho (i like the 64 a best) The family that owns it is very nice and quick to start a conversation. The prices and portion size is really good. I'd give the whole place a 13/10 and that says a lot because way the restaurant is decorated leaves something to be desired. If you're looking for amazing Vietnamese food this is the only place in Cape Cod!
Excellent food, great friendly staff!
My husband and I love and adore the food and the family that is Thuan Loi. #122- order it once, and you will crave it and compare every bowl of vermicelli you ever eat again to it, and Thuan Loi’s will always win!! Closest we’ve ever come to eating Vietnamese food in Vietnam. Ingredients are always fresh! A gem on the cape. The fruit shakes are also incredible.
The Pho soup here is excellent!
Rude staff. Slow service. Good food. Take out only.
very nice place , a family runs it and they all work together to make really good food!
The sign is correct, authentic Vietnamese. Very well priced, and the staff is so friendly. Easy to do eat in or take out. I went with the spring rolls - shrimp, and rare steak pho. Spring rolls came with a delicious peanut sauce for dipping.
Vietnamese on the Cape? Why not? Best decision I've ever made! I got the salmon clay pot and it was out of this world! So good. Everyone was friendly and the service was on point. I also had a Vietnamese iced coffee that was absolutely ridiculous good. I wanted 2 of them, but refrained. Highly recommend!
Decent I have been coming here for many years, i grew up in California when vietnamese food is far more common it's not on par with my regular places back west but i will always come back. They were always nice to me, and I have had many interesting conversations about things with the old man most recently alternative medicine and making bone broth which I love to make my own, I do wish they skimmed the marrow oil like many vietnamese places do as I am on a high fat low carb diet and absolutely love the marrow oils on the side, I have read a few bad reviews and I can attest they arent always on point but they are very consistent and the fact it's the only vietnamese place unless you go to Boston I will go here everytime
My wife and I visited this place about 2 years ago, and we had a great impression of this place. The owners work very hard and love what they do. We tried going back there on a holiday, but they were closed, and we were very sad.
This place impressed my husband and I . Small family owned place . Chill atmosphere and the food was amazing !!!! We ordered the spring rolls. I had pho ( without the tripe ) it was the best broth I have ever had ! My husband had the house special fried rice and it was soooooo good. I def will return .
Amazing. Their pho is delicious. The broth has a fantastic depth to it, and was tasty enough for me to polish off a huge bowl by myself. Just what I was craving as the weather is getting chillier. The owners are wonderful and welcoming, and are happy to answer any questions and offer suggestions if you aren't sure what to order. I don't know of any other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, but if there are, this one would surely give them a run for their money.
Excellent food. Best freshest lo mein noodle dish I've ever had ! My wife and kids found the dishes superb. Small family run restaurant made for a unique atmosphere. We will make this our go to place to eat.
One of the best meals we have each year on the Cape is here. We consistently go out of our way to eat at this hole-in-the-wall, and oh is it worth it! They have hands down the best seafood on the Cape (which is really saying something), such as the twin fried lobsters, which are always succulent, addictive, and crusted with a sweet-savory herb-y goodness, which only compliment the mouthwateringly fresh meat inside. You have to order these in advance, though. Another favorite are the salt and pepper prawns, crispy, golden, and deliciously crunchy. Their soups are also works of art, and are homely and satisfying. You can never go wrong with anything on the menu, everything is simply crave-able.
the Pho here is the best I've ever tasted in the Continental USA. Cape Cod's hidden gem for unique cuisine.
It being the only place on the Cape with pho, I was a bit weary but their broth is amazing and fresh. I ordered the rare steak pho and was not disappointed. Can't wait to go back! It is a little small in there, so prepare for some slight cramping. Other than that, AMAZING.
A good place for a simple dinner or lunch by your self or family. There were many downfalls though, our food came out in 40 minutes, way slower than we though as pho is a Vietnamese fast food. However I have after eating learned that the kitchen is only the owner’s son and his mother. And there were a lot of customers. The food overall was great, I recommend number 128.
Pho real, the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I’ll be coming back pho ever
Best Vietnamese food around. Super friendly staff
Authentic and delicious. Was our first time there, but definitely won't be our last. The egg rolls are the best ive ever had.
I like the milk tea a lot and the pho is perfect
Best pho on the cape!
This place is AMAZING! Staff so nice and attentive. Shared cooking insights and you can tell their food made with LOVE! It shows! Come here often!!
Excellent food from a kind old man and his entire family. You have to visit here if you are in the area. A visit here is educational and uplifting. You will leave having a new appreciation for the power of a good bowl of soup. The decor is delightfully unpretentious. The tables and chairs are utilitarian and the decor is garish. The food and the family that make it are the stars here. Don't be fooled by the way it looks, this is outstanding ethnic cuisine that should not be missed.
What a nice family owned place. The food was good and fresh, but i really liked the family atmosphere. We were visiting the area and didn’t want burgers, pizza, and the usual fare. This was a nice change and we had a relaxing lunch
This place was absolutely amazing! So authentic and good!
